Overview
Devdaha Adarsha Multiple Campus (DAMC), established in 2065 BS (2009 AD), is a community-driven higher education institution located in Sheetalnagar, Devdaha Municipality, Rupandehi District. Nestled at the foot of the Chure hills and approximately 50 kilometers from Lumbini—the sacred birthplace of Gautama Buddha—DAMC has steadily grown into an academic anchor for this culturally significant region.
It is affiliated with Tribhuvan University (TU) and offers four years' full-time Bachelor's Degree programs in Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS) and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.).
This campus was born out of a genuine local need. Before its founding, students from Devdaha, Kerawani, Siktahan, and neighboring areas had limited educational options. They were often compelled to travel to distant towns, such as Butwal and Bhairahawa, to pursue their studies. DAMC emerged as a solution, bringing accessible, affordable education closer to home.
Affiliated with Tribhuvan University, the campus focuses on undergraduate programs in Education and Management. Its mission is to prepare thoughtful, capable, and socially responsible graduates who are ready to contribute to their communities and beyond. The campus is also part of the national academic quality improvement effort, currently in the Peer Review phase of the QAA process.
