Mount Everest Engineering Institute was established in 2008 AD (2064 BS) as a private institute to provide computer training programs. It is located in Birendranagar surkhet, opposite side of District post office, Surkeht district of Nepal. It is affiliated to Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT). It offers 18 months Junior Computer Training Programs for 40 students each years. It also provides scholarship facilities to financially backward students.
