Mid-West University Graduate School of Law (MU Graduate School of Law), located in Birendranagar, Surkhet, opened its doors in 2018 as part of Mid-West University (MU), a public institution established by the Government of Nepal in 2010. MU was created with a goal to make higher education accessible to students across Nepal, especially in the western and mid-western regions.

Getting into the School of Law involves two key steps:
Application Call: Usually opens between August and September each year.
Selection Rounds: Includes a written entrance exam and a follow-up interview or presentation.
The written exam checks for general aptitude, reasoning, and communication. The interview assesses motivation and clarity of thought. Final selections are based on combined performance. Scholarship applicants also go through additional evaluation.
