Surkhet Educational Development Academy

Surkhet Education Development Academy (SEDA) is a community-anchored institute serving students from Surkhet and the wider Karnali region. Set up in 2007 in Birendranagar-10, Jarbuta, Surkhet, Karnali Province, Nepal, SEDA integrates school education with mid-level technical training in health sciences.

Its current technical focus is the PCL in General Medicine (Health Assistant) under CTEVT, which prepares learners for frontline roles in primary care, emergency response, and community health programs.

SEDA operates within Nepal’s national quality and licensing framework. As a CTEVT-affiliated provider, its HA graduates pursue professional registration with the Nepal Health Professional Council (NHPC)—SEDA appears in NHPC’s list of registered institutions for allied health professions. This pathway supports graduates seeking lawful practice and public-sector or NGO roles.
