BIT Curriculum and Academic Structure
The first semester includes Mathematics-I, Fundamentals of Information Technology, Technical Communication (English), Basic Electrical System & Circuit, Principles of Management, Computer Programming-I, and Project-I. The second semester continues with Mathematics-II, Electronics Devices & Circuits, Digital Logic, Object Oriented Programming in C++, Financial Management & Accounting, and Project-II.
As students progress, the curriculum covers Data Structure & Algorithm, System Analysis & Design, Web Technology, Database Management System, Computer Organization, Discrete Mathematics, Probability & Statistics, Computer Graphics, Operating System, Computer Network, Data Mining & Data Warehousing, and Research Methodology.
The final year includes Artificial Intelligence, Network Programming, Software Engineering, Management Information System, E-commerce, Wireless Communication System, Software Project Management, electives, and an Application Project.
