Fifth Digital Nepal Conclave 2026 to Be Held in Lalitpur, Focusing on Data and Digital Economy
Kathmandu. The fifth edition of the major information and communication technology conference, Digital Nepal Conclave, will be held on Thursday, Bhadra 11, at The Plaza in Lalitpur.
Organized by ICT Foundation Nepal, this year’s Conclave will be held under the theme “Reimagining Governance, Data and the Digital Economy.” Considering the new government’s priority on good governance, this year’s event will feature broader discussions on data-driven governance and the economy.
The Conclave has been organized since 2020 with digital transformation and ecosystem development as its main agenda, based on the Digital Nepal Framework introduced by the government in 2019.
According to Rajan Lamsal, Chairperson of ICT Foundation Nepal, the main objective of the program is to bring together the private sector, government and international organizations under the government’s plan to build a Digital Nepal, with a focus on policy reform and implementation.
Key Highlights of the Program

Participation: More than 500 participants will attend in person, including ministers of the Government of Nepal, members of the House of Representatives, senior government representatives and international experts.

Sessions: More than three keynote presentations, five thematic panel discussions and one Power Dialogue session.

Digital Spark: Presentations by thematic experts, along with showcases of more than 10 innovations being developed for Digital Nepal.

Exhibition: More than 20 technologies developed in Nepal will be showcased. Participants will also be able to directly experience AI technologies through TingTing Omni Live Interaction, TingTing Outbound and TingTing Responsive Agent.
Main Discussion Sessions
This year’s Conclave discussions will primarily focus on three strategic areas and one leadership dialogue:

Governance and Digital Public Infrastructure: Institutional digital reform, citizen-centric smart services, integrated digital ID, policy innovation and data-driven decision-making.

Data, AI and Cybersecurity: National data sovereignty, ethical use of AI, cybersecurity, digital trust and data interoperability across different sectors.

Digital Economy and Innovation: Digital transformation, investment opportunities and the digital workforce required for the future.

Final Session: Political commitment to digital leadership and transformation.
