The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nepal (ICAN) is organizing the "ICAN Essay Contest 2026" for CAP III/Advisory level students. The Institute announced the essay competition through a notice issued on 28 September 2026.
Contest Topic and Objective
The topic of this year's essay contest is "Enhancing Investor Confidence Through Effective Corporate Governance Mechanisms."
The competition aims to foster critical thinking in students, analytical writing, and an informed understanding of how effective corporate governance mechanisms can strengthen investor confidence.
ICAN stated that this academic exercise is expected to enhance students' research skills, writing, and analytical abilities and contribute to their professional development.
Opportunity to Participate in SAFA Essay Contest
The top three essays selected from the "ICAN Essay Contest 2026" will be nominated to represent ICAN in the upcoming "SAFA Essay Contest" organized by the South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA).
Participation and Submission Process
CAP III/Advisory level students interested in participating in the competition must submit an essay on the prescribed topic along with a cover letter via email.
