Rapti Rural Municipality in Dang is set to organize a nationwide open “Cross-Country Devikot Darshan Run” on the occasion of its establishment day.
The rural municipality stated that the competition will be held at 7:00 AM on March 13, 2026 [2082 Falgun 29].
The event aims to promote nationwide publicity of the Bhadraakshi Devi Temple at Devikot in Ward No. 9, a site described as having historical and mythological significance (the place where Sati Devi’s left knee is believed to have fallen), and to support both domestic and external tourism, according to Chief Administrative Officer Deviram Pathak.

The rural municipality stated that tax will be deducted from the prize amounts as per rules.
The rural municipality has expressed confidence that the event will highlight the religious and tourism importance of the Devikot area and has called on athletes, youth, and all concerned stakeholders to participate enthusiastically.
