United College Hosts United Ignite 3.0, Third Annual Business Idea Pitching Competition
Lalitpur, Nepal — August 27, 2026
United College, under the United Academy Group, hosted United Ignite 3.0 on August 27, 2026, at Pavilion Hall, United Academy. The event marked the third edition of the business idea pitching competition organized by the United Center for Entrepreneurship, Innovation, and Incubation (UCEII).
The competition involved 28 students from the Bachelor of Business Management (BBM), Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA), and Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS) programs. Following the selection process, nine student teams advanced to the final round: three from BBM, four from BCA, and two from BBS.
Each finalist team presented a business concept before a panel of judges, faculty members, and guests.

The judging panel included Cheteze Tamang, CEO of Act 360 and an alumnus of United Academy; Krishna Prasad Pandey, Founder and CEO of Dursikshya Education Network; and Anupam Bhattarai, Director of Academic and Technology Innovation at Idea Studio Nepal.
Representatives of the United Academy Group attending the event included Campus Chief Dr. Lal Rapacha, Founder Chairperson Dripa Chamling, Founder Director Narahang Rai, and Founder Academic Director Dr. Kabi Raj Bantawa.
Faculty mentors Seema Shahi, Rabina Duwal, Ganesh Joshi, and Dr. Binod Lingden worked with the finalist teams during their preparation for the pitching session.
United Ignite is an initiative of UCEII focused on student business idea development and presentation. According to United College, students who participated in previous editions have also taken part in Idea Studio Nepal's College Idea Hunt.
