ICAN Publishes ICAEW Foundation Bursary Interview Schedule for 47 Shortlisted Candidates

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nepal (ICAN) has published an interview notice for candidates shortlisted under the ICAEW Foundation Building Futures Bursary (Foundation Level).

According to the notice issued on October 14, 2026, interviews for 47 shortlisted candidates will be conducted on November 1, 2026 (2083/07/15).

Interview Date, Time, and Venue

The interview arrangements are as follows:

• Interview Date: November 1, 2026 (2083/07/15), Sunday

• Venue: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nepal (ICAN), Head Office, Satdobato, Lalitpur

• Interview Time: From 7:30 AM onwards, according to the time slot assigned to each candidate

Candidates are requested to arrive at the interview venue at least 15 minutes before their allotted interview time.

Candidates who fail to attend the interview on the scheduled date will not be considered for the bursary.

Documents Required for Verification

Shortlisted candidates must bring the original documents and one set of self-attested photocopies of the following documents for verification during the interview:

1. Academic Documents: Mark sheets/transcripts and character certificates of SEE, 10+2 (or equivalent), and Bachelor's degree (if applicable).

2. Income Recommendation Letter: A recommendation letter issued by the relevant local government clearly stating the family's annual income. A letter that does not specify the income amount will be treated as non-disclosure of income.

3. Citizenship Certificate: Citizenship certificate of the candidate.

4. Proof of Public/Government/Community School or College (if applicable): Documentary evidence confirming completion of 10+2 or Bachelor's level education at a public, government, or community school or college. Candidates who attended private or institutional schools are not required to submit this document, and failure to provide it will not result in disqualification.

5. Disability-Related Documents (if applicable): Disability Identity Card or recommendation letter issued by the relevant local government.

6. Proof of Marginalized Community Status (if applicable): Identity card or recommendation letter issued by the relevant local government confirming membership in marginalized communities, including Dalit, Chepang, Raute, Kusunda, Bankariya, Surel, Kisan, Meche, Raji, and Hayu.

7. Extracurricular Activities (if any): Certificates demonstrating participation in sports, music, dance, other extracurricular activities, or involvement as a volunteer or member of social organizations.

8. Other Supporting Documents: Any other relevant supporting documents.

Important Notice: Candidates will be disqualified if any submitted document is found to be false or misleading.
