SEE Exam to be held in Jestha:

Secondary School Education (SEE) 2077 examination is scheduled to take place in Jestha 2078. The National Examination Board (NEB) has started preparations for the SEE Jestha.

Chairman of the Board Prof. Dr. Chandra Mani Poudel informed that preparations have been started as there is a possibility of conducting the examination till May. He said that the students have to give time to study till Chaitra / Jestha, and as it rains in Ashad / Shrawan, the month of June seems to be suitable for the examination.

The government has not made a clear policy decision on when the academic session will start and end this time. In the past, the academic session started in April and ended in Chaitra.

School-level classes have been brought into operation through alternative methods. At present, classes have been started in some schools even physically, but the academic session has not been confirmed. Stating that they have requested the government to decide on the academic session, Chairman of the Board Poudel said that all decisions would be taken after that. Before that, work has been started for the preparation of the examination, including the registration form.

Time has been given till the third week of Magh to fill the form. This will make it easier to make further decisions about the exams by ascertaining the actual figures given by the SEE. As the answer sheet of SEE will be printed by the state government, the board has to provide the data of real students for that.

The NEB has not been able to make a clear decision on the method of conducting the examination this time. The government will decide on the matter after receiving the final details of the students. He said that there is a need to make a policy decision on the physical presence of the students, online or through which medium, and also to make necessary preparations. The SEE of 2076 due to coronavirus infection was made public by the board based on the internal evaluation of the school.
