Balkhu, Kathmandu
Tribhuvan University (TU), the Office of the Controller of Examinations, Balkhu, has published a revised registration notice for Intake Group 2082 (2025) in accordance with TU Executive Council Decision No. 308. Under the academic year 2081/082, students of all levels studying at TU constituent and affiliated campuses are required to fill the form themselves through an online process.
For students studying under the annual system, applications must be submitted online from the date of publication of this notice until the end of Magh 2082. Campuses or colleges must verify the applications received within the specified period and, by Falgun 02, 2082, send the required fees and documents to the Office of the Controller of Examinations or the regional office.
For students who could not submit the application within the specified deadline, an arrangement has been made to submit the application with double fees for one week starting from Falgun 03, 2082.
For students under the semester system (Bachelor’s, Postgraduate Diploma–PGD, and Master’s), the concerned body must complete registration at the regular fee within five months from the date the first admission notice is published. After that period, the forms must be registered within one week by paying double fees. The notice states that registration will not be done after the final deadline has passed.
Students must upload all transcripts from SEE/SLC and +2 levels through the online portal and submit them to the campus. The campus must check these documents and, if found correct, submit them to the Office of the Controller of Examinations along with the prescribed fee.
The notice states that copies of the following documents are mandatory with the registration form: SEE/SLC, +2 or equivalent marksheet, character certificate, provisional certificate, and original migration certificate (if from a foreign board, an equivalence letter).
Regarding the registration fee, it has been set at NPR 1,000 for foreign students and NPR 500 for domestic students. The notice also clarifies that after a student submits the registration form, campuses will not provide a recommendation for migration until the first-year examination is conducted.
It has also been informed that, for Intake Group 2082 (2025), students who passed after 2025 should not be admitted, and that if forms are submitted without meeting the required standards, fees will be charged again.
