Salt Trading Corporation Invites Recommendations for Laxmidas Manandhar Child Welfare Award 2083
The Welfare Committee of Salt Trading Corporation Limited has invited recommendations for a suitable individual or institution for the Laxmidas Manandhar Child Welfare Award 2083. According to the notice first published on 2083/04/06 BS, recommendations for the award must be registered by the end of Shrawan 2083 BS.
The Corporation presents this award each year on the occasion of its anniversary to an individual or institution that has made an outstanding contribution to the educational, psychological, physical and material development of children, as well as their moral and character development.
Recommendation Submission Locations and Deadline
The name of an eligible individual or institution may be registered at the Corporation’s Central Office in Kalimati, Kathmandu, or at its provincial offices in:

The notice states that recommendations registered after the end of Shrawan 2083 BS will not be recognised.
Criteria for the Award
The award will be presented to a suitable individual or institution actively engaged in any of the following areas:

Providing direct services in areas such as children’s health, education and child psychology.

Working for a long period to support the educational and mental advancement of disadvantaged children with different abilities.

Continuously working for at least five years to provide care and support to disadvantaged children.

Working in a practical and effective manner to protect children’s rights and raise public awareness about those rights.
Special Priority
Among the institutions recommended for the award, special priority will be given to institutions operating with resources available within Nepal.
