Ncell Foundation to Distribute 2,428 Educational Kits Nationwide
Ncell Foundation has announced that it will distribute 2,428 educational materials to students of government and community schools across the country, as committed during the second edition of the Nepal Premier League (NPL).
This announcement was made under a social initiative in which Ncell pledged to distribute four educational items for every boundary (four) hit during the tournament. The initiative aims to support students’ learning by linking cricket enthusiasm with education.
Basis for the Distribution
In this year’s NPL, 99 players hit a total of 607 boundaries. Based on this, it has been confirmed that 2,428 educational kits will be distributed.
Each kit to be distributed will include basic stationery items such as a school bag, notebooks, pencils, a sharpener, an eraser, and similar materials.
Rosington Ensures the Highest Number of Materials
In the tournament, Adam Rosington of Pokhara Avengers hit the highest number of boundaries, with 31 fours, ensuring 124 educational materials.

Statement from Ncell
Ncell’s Corporate Communication and Sustainability Director, Bishakha Laxmi Khadka, said that the excellent performance of the players helped not only the teams on the field but also the future of students.
She also informed that, in coordination with relevant stakeholders, these materials will be handed over to students from underprivileged government schools.
Cash Prize for Top Players
As a “Powered By” partner of the NPL, Ncell provided a cash prize of 25,000 rupees to the player who hit the most fours in each match.
In addition, Adam Rosington, who hit the most fours across the tournament, was awarded a cash prize of 200,000 rupees.
Continuity of the Initiative
In last year’s first edition as well, the foundation distributed more than 9,000 educational materials across the country.
This year too, the distribution will be carried out in coordination with the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN), local governments, and Karmayog Foundation.
