Karnali PSC Revises 9th Level Engineer Recommendation After Court Order

The Province Public Service Commission, Karnali Province has revised the recommendation result for the post of Senior Divisional Engineer (9th Level) in accordance with an order issued by the High Court, Surkhet. Issuing a notice on Tuesday, the commission stated that it has cancelled the recommendation of the previously recommended main candidate and decided to recommend a new candidate.
The commission stated that the recommendation was revised based on the order issued by the High Court, Surkhet dated 2082/08/09, and the opinion received through a letter dated 2082/10/12 from the Office of the Chief Attorney, Surkhet.
Under Advertisement No. 548/2080–81 (Open) for the Provincial Engineering Service, Civil Group, Building and Architect Sub-group, 9th Level post, the result previously published on 2082/01/16 (Notice No. 365/2081–82) had recommended Janak Bhattarai as the candidate ranked first in the merit list.
However, as per the new decision dated 2082/10/12, the commission has revoked the decision to recommend Janak Bhattarai (Dullu-13, Dailekh) and removed him from the merit list. In the vacancy created, Anil Timsina has been recommended for permanent appointment to the Office of the Chief Minister and Council of Ministers, Karnali Province, Surkhet, based on the merit order.
