Koshi Province PSC Recommends Alternate Candidate for ANM Post

The Province Public Service Commission, Koshi Province has recommended an alternate candidate for permanent appointment to the ANM (Auxiliary Nurse Midwife) post under the Health Service within the Local Government Service. Issuing a notice on Monday, the commission’s office in Biratnagar announced the decision to fill the vacant post.
According to the commission, under Advertisement No. 4041/2081–82 (Adivasi Janajati) for the Assistant Level Fourth Grade ANM post, the alternate candidate has been recommended after the previously recommended candidate did not accept the appointment. Based on a request received for fulfilling the vacant post from Laligurans Municipality, Tehrathum, the commission stated that it made this decision in accordance with the Province Public Service Commission Act, 2076 and the Regulations, 2081.
Why Was an Alternate Candidate Recommended?
As per the result published earlier on 2082/09/07 (Notice No. 300/2082–83), Sabina Pradhan (Merit Rank: 12, Roll No.: 234) had been recommended for permanent appointment.
However, since she did not accept the appointment at Laligurans Municipality, the post became vacant. Therefore, the candidate ranked first in the alternative merit list has been recommended.
