Biratnagar, February 8, 2026 [2082 Magh 25, BS]:
The Koshi Province Public Service Commission (Koshi Pradesh Lok Sewa Aayog), Biratnagar, has recommended an alternate candidate for the Amin post at Assistant Level Fourth Level under the Local Government Service.
The Commission decided to make a new recommendation on 2082 Magh 25 (BS) under Advertisement No. 4012/2081-82 (आ.ज.), for the Survey Group position.
Reason for the Alternate Recommendation
According to the notice, the candidate ranked first in the main merit list, Lencham Bhote, had already been appointed to another post. After Phungling Municipality, Taplejung, requested an alternate candidate, the Commission recommended a candidate from the alternate list in accordance with the Provincial Public Service Commission Act, 2076, and the Regulation, 2081.
The notice further states that the candidate ranked first in the alternate merit list had already been recommended for a higher post. Therefore, Jeet Bahadur Shrestha, who was ranked second on the alternate list, was selected.
The Commission stated that Shrestha has been recommended for permanent appointment at Phungling Municipality, Taplejung.
