Koshi Province PSC Recommends Alternate Candidate for Amin Post
The Province Public Service Commission (PPSC), Koshi Province, Biratnagar has published a notice regarding the recommendation of an alternate candidate for the Amin post under the Local Government Service.
The commission recommended a new candidate from the alternate list after the candidate ranked first in the merit order accepted appointment in another post.
According to Commission Notice No. 401/2082-083 and Advertisement No. 4013/2081-82 (Women) under the Local Engineering Service, Survey Group, Assistant Level Fourth, Amin post, the previously recommended candidate, Bishnu Khadka, has been removed from the merit order list.
The commission stated that this action was taken after Gauradaha Municipality, Jhapa wrote to the commission requesting an alternate candidate recommendation. Bishnu Khadka was removed from the list in accordance with Section 39(2) of the Province Public Service Commission Act, 2076 (BS) and Rule 44(1) of the Regulations, 2081 (BS).
Since the candidates in alternate merit order numbers 1 and 2 had already been recommended for higher posts, Januka Karki (alternate merit order no. 3) has been recommended for permanent appointment.
As per the decision dated February 20, 2026 [Falgun 8, 2082 (BS)], the commission stated that she has been recommended to Gauradaha Municipality, Jhapa.
