Lumbini PPSC Recommends Two Alternate Candidates for Chief Minister Office

The Lumbini Province Public Service Commission (Lumbini Pradesh Lok Sewa Aayog) has recommended two alternate candidates for the Office of the Chief Minister and Council of Ministers. The recommendation has been made for appointment to the vacant post of Senior Administrative Assistant under Advertisement No. 50018/2071-72 (Open).
Previously recommended main candidates Hemant Gautam and Saugat Nepal, and an alternate-list candidate Khemraj Khadka, were recommended by the Public Service Commission, Butwal Office for the post of Nayab Subba under the Nepal Administration Service and received permanent appointments in various District Administration Offices.
After they were appointed to the District Administration Offices of Banke, Rolpa, and Rukum (Eastern Part), the post became vacant at the Chief Minister’s Office.
After receiving a request from the Office of the Chief Minister and Council of Ministers, Rapti Valley (Deukhuri) to recommend candidates for the vacant post, the Commission made a decision in accordance with Rule 34 of the Province Public Service Commission Regulation, 2076 (BS). The Commission stated that the decision to recommend alternate candidates in the merit order for permanent appointment was made on February 6, 2026 [2082/10/23 BS].
