PSC Recommends Alternative Candidates for Human Rights Assistant Post
The Kathmandu Office of the Public Service Commission, Anamnagar, through its Interview and Recommendation Branch, has published a notice regarding the recommendation of alternative candidates for appointment to the post of Human Rights Assistant under the National Human Rights Service.
The office made the decision public on March 13, 2026 (Falgun 29, 2082 BS) through Notice No. 193/2082-83.
Alternative Recommendation Issued After Earlier Candidates Declined Appointment
Under Advertisement No. 11908/081-82 (Open) for the post of Human Rights Assistant, Assistant First Class, Administration Group, National Human Rights Service, candidates had earlier been recommended through Notice No. 168/2082-83 dated February 9, 2026 (Magh 27, 2082 BS).
Under that earlier recommendation, candidate Madhav Tiwari, who was placed at recommendation merit rank 1, and candidate Manisha Khanal, who was placed at recommendation merit rank 5, had been recommended for permanent appointment to the National Human Rights Commission, Pulchowk, Lalitpur.
However, as they submitted applications stating that they were not willing to accept appointment to the post, and their statements were also verified, they were removed from the recommendation merit list.
