SEE Supplementary (Grade Increment) Exam Result 2081 Published

The NEB Published the result of Secondary Education Examination (SEE) grade increment (Supplementary) exam 2080/2081 year and the pass rate is 56.78%.

The National Examination Board (NEB) announced the results on Monday. According to the board, 210,321 students participated in the exam, out of which 119,425 students passed. Exam Controller (Class 10) Nandalal Paudel reported that 90,888 students received non-graded results, meaning they did not pass.

According to the board, only 18 students achieved a GPA between 3.61 and 4. Similarly, 1,518 students scored between 3.21 and 3.60 GPA. A total of 23,623 students obtained a GPA between 2.81 and 3.20, while 74,460 students received a GPA between 2.41 and 2.80. Only 64 students managed to secure a GPA between 1.60 and 2.

The grade increment exam was for students who either did not receive a grade or were absent during the regular SEE exam of 2080 BS. In the results released earlier in Asar, only 48% of students passed the SEE exam.

Following that result, more than 50% of students were unable to enroll in Class 11 due to failing. As a result, the then Minister for Education, Science, and Technology, Sumana Shrestha, instructed that all failed students be allowed to participate in the grade increment exam.

The 2068 Grading Guidelines allowed only students who had failed in up to two subjects to sit for the grade increment exam. However, under the directive of Education Minister Shrestha, the guidelines were amended to allow all non-graded and absent students to participate. The exam was conducted in the last week of Shrawan.

As the NEB published the results on time, students who participated in the grade increment exam now have the opportunity to enroll in Class 11 before Dashain. However, their studies are delayed by two months compared to regular students.
