Tribhuvan University Faculty of Law LL.B Entrance Examination Result 2083 Published

Tribhuvan University, Faculty of Law, Dean’s Office has published the result of the entrance examination for the Bachelor’s (LL.B.) level for the academic session 2082/083.

For admission to the first year of the three-year Bachelor’s degree (LL.B.) level under the annual examination system, a total of 3,800 seats are available in the constituent and affiliated campuses of TU listed below.

The entrance examination was conducted on 2083/02/29. As per Point No. 15 of the application form notice dated 2082/12/27, candidates who selected the campuses for study, filled out the application form, and participated in the examination have been included in the result.

The following result has been published with admission quotas for candidates in merit order, in accordance with the Regulation on Admission to Reservation Seats in Constituent Campuses under TU, 2074.

Reserved Seat Details

As per Chapter 4, Rule 118 of the TU Organization and Academic Administration Rules, 2050, including amendments up to 2080/03/12, and the Regulation on Admission to Reservation Seats in Constituent Campuses under TU, 2074, while admitting students in the number determined by Tribhuvan University, 20 percent of the total seats under each academic program must be allocated to the following categories.

Admission must be granted in the following reserved seat numbers on the basis of competition among candidates of the concerned category and according to merit order.

Notes

In the case of Indigenous Janajati, admission must be granted from top to bottom according to the classification made by the National Foundation for Development of Indigenous Nationalities.
In the case of Madhesi, students included in the classification of the schedule of the Backward Community District Coordination Committee (Formation and Operation) Procedure, 2071, must be given first priority over other Madhesi students.
While selecting students with disabilities, admission must be granted on the basis of priority according to blue, yellow, and white identity cards.
In the case of “Others,” admission must be granted on the basis of merit order to those who score the highest marks among gender and sexual minorities and economically deprived Khas Arya.
If the certificates and recommendation letters submitted for admission are found to be fake, or if admission is found to have been granted without submission of the required certificates, such admission will be automatically canceled. The seats becoming vacant in this manner must be filled sequentially from among the students in merit order.
If candidates of the various categories do not obtain the minimum 40 percent marks in the entrance examination, or if any seat remains vacant because students of that category are not admitted, admission must be granted from among the students in merit order.
At the time of admission, students must compulsorily submit their citizenship certificate, certified educational qualification certificates, and, in the case of students coming from educational institutions outside TU, certificates including equivalence recognized by TU and Migration Certificate.
If any student is not admitted within the prescribed date and a seat remains vacant, admission must be granted sequentially from among students in the merit list.
If fewer candidates than the prescribed number of seats have passed in the campus where the result has been published, a notice must be issued inviting applications for admission by specifying the vacant seats. If candidates who passed the entrance examination from other campuses submit applications for admission as per the notice, admission must be granted from among the applicants in merit order.
This result will also be applicable for the purpose of scholarships provided by the Government of Nepal, Ministry of Education.

Additional Details on the Entrance Examination

A total of 8,623 candidates had filled out the application form for the Bachelor’s (LL.B.) level entrance examination conducted on 2083/02/29. Among them, the application forms of 11 candidates were canceled, and symbol numbers were issued to 8,612 candidates to participate in the entrance examination.

Since 5 candidates filled out application forms by selecting two campuses, their admit cards with the following symbol numbers were canceled:

The Faculty of Law issued admit cards for a total of 8,607 candidates to participate in the examination. During the examination, exam centers were arranged at 9 campuses outside the Valley and 5 campuses inside the Valley. A total of 7,538 candidates participated in the examination from 14 exam centers, and 1,069 candidates were absent.

Due to acts contrary to examination discipline, the answer sheets of the following 4 candidates were canceled after action was taken:

Symbol No. 838328 and Symbol No. 838421: Two candidates who participated at the J.S. Murarka Multiple Campus, Lahan, Siraha examination center of Mahendra Bindeshwari Multiple Campus, Rajbiraj.
Symbol No. 834818: One candidate who participated at Ramswarup Ramsagar Multiple Campus, Janakpur.
Symbol No. 836204: One candidate who participated at Mahendra Multiple Campus, Nepalgunj.

In the case of Symbol No. 838312, who participated at the J.S. Murarka Multiple Campus, Lahan, Siraha examination center of Mahendra Bindeshwari Multiple Campus, Rajbiraj, it was found during checking that the candidate had placed a sign on the answer sheet. Therefore, the candidate’s answer sheet was canceled without being evaluated.

Among the candidates who participated in this LL.B. entrance examination, the answer sheets of a total of 5 candidates were canceled after action was taken.

Symbol No. 836761 had selected Mahendra Multiple Campus, Dharan for study, and Symbol No. 838539 had selected Mahendra Bindeshwari Multiple Campus, Rajbiraj. The examination center of Symbol No. 836761 was Mahendra Multiple Campus, Dharan, and the examination center of Symbol No. 838539 was J.S. Murarka Multiple Campus, Lahan.

However, as shown by the letter of Mahendra Multiple Campus, Nepalgunj, Dispatch No. 1338, dated 2083/02/29, the candidates had participated at Mahendra Multiple Campus, Nepalgunj. As they participated at an examination center other than the prescribed examination center, contrary to the notice, the Entrance Examination Conducting Committee decided not to evaluate the answer sheets of Symbol No. 836761 and Symbol No. 838539, and the said answer sheets were canceled.

Complaint Regarding Technical Error

If there is any complaint regarding a technical error in the published result, an application must be submitted by 5:00 p.m. during office hours on Wednesday, 2083/03/17.

For this, each candidate must deposit Rs. 500/- (five hundred only) in the Nepal Bank Limited account maintained in the name of Faculty of Law, Dean’s Office (KANOON SANKAYA DIN KO KARYALAYA), and submit an application along with the original voucher and admit card to the Dean’s Office email address.

If there is any technical ambiguity in the published result, it will be corrected according to the records of the Examination Committee.

The final result will be published by the Dean’s Office on 2083/03/18.

After the deadline for registering complaints regarding technical errors ends, a notice of the final result for admission will be sent to the concerned campuses on 2083/03/19. After receiving the notice of the final result, students must be admitted to the first year of LL.B.
