
Class 11 Scholarship Distribution in Bharatpur Metropolitan City
Bharatpur Metropolitan City has awarded full scholarships to 438 students studying in Class 11 at institutional schools. The scholarships were distributed in coordination with the mandatory provisions of scholarships by institutional schools, as per the Scholarship Management Procedure of the Metropolitan City.
The selection process invited online applications from students enrolled in Class 11, in accordance with the Education Act and the Scholarship Management Procedure of Bharatpur Metropolitan City.
Scholarship Distribution Highlights
This year, schools within the metropolitan area have provided the highest number of scholarships so far. Mayor Renu Dahal stated that the scholarships were distributed based on the Federal Scholarship Act.
According to Mayor Dahal, applications were invited from interested students for selection under Clause 11, Sub-clause (4) of the Bharatpur Metropolitan City Scholarship Management Procedure, 2082 (with amendments), giving 15 days for submission. Students with the highest marks were selected impartially, without any influence or favoritism.
Scholarships were awarded based on students’ ability and qualifications, covering studies up to Class 12. She further mentioned that the process was carried out scientifically to ensure equal access to education.
Officials’ Remarks
Deputy Mayor Chitrasen Adhikari urged students to maintain their academic performance in Class 11 as they did in the SEE examination.
Chief Administrative Officer Laxmi Prasad Paudel informed that the full scholarships were provided as guaranteed by the Constitution.

Scholarships were granted to students from both institutional and community schools. All 438 selected students will receive scholarships for both Class 11 and Class 12.
Last year, only 266 students received scholarships for both years.

Students receiving scholarships are exempt from paying admission and monthly tuition fees. However, they are responsible for covering all other fees themselves.
