Gandaki Boarding School Scholarship Entrance Exam Notice

Gandaki Boarding School, Lamachaur, Pokhara, Notice Regarding Scholarship Entrance Examination. This notice is published for the information of all concerned as the entrance examination for students who wish to study in Grade 4 under the scholarship facility at Gandaki Boarding School for the Academic Session 2083 will be conducted as per the details below.

The student must be studying in Grade 3, the IEMIS number must be updated, and the student must not have completed 10 years of age by the end of Chaitra 2082.
Along with the application form, the following must be submitted:
- Two copies of a photograph
- Marksheet/gradesheet
- Photocopy of birth registration
- Recommendation letter with documents from the concerned Ward Office showing monthly/annual income
The entrance examination will be conducted in Nepali, Mathematics, and English based on the Grade 3 curriculum prescribed by the Government of Nepal.
The scholarship entrance examination will be conducted on Saturday, Magh 3, 2082 at the following centers. The application form will be distributed from 8:00 AM at the respective centers on the same day, and the written examination will be conducted from 11:00 AM.

Additional Information

Partial scholarship also falls under the scholarship category. Parents/students who receive a partial scholarship (75%, 66.6%, 50%, 33.3%, 25%) must pay the remaining fees based on their source of income and the basis of earnings.
Students with a family monthly income above NPR 60,000.00 (sixty thousand) will be ineligible for the scholarship.
Eligible students may participate at any one of the above-mentioned examination centers that is convenient for them.
This scholarship facility will be provided only to poor and diligent students, or students who meet the criteria set by the school. If the submitted details are found to be false, the scholarship will be cancelled at any time. All rights related to the scholarship will remain vested in the school.
Parents who are permanent residents within Pokhara Metropolitan City Ward No. 16 and 19 and wish to take the entrance examination under the local scholarship must submit, along with the application form, the original certified document from the concerned Ward Office confirming permanent residence in that area.

Note:

For students who wish to study in Grade 4 by paying the full fee, and for residential students of Grade 6, application forms will be distributed from Falgun 18, 2082.
