Call for Research Grant Proposals
Gandaki University, through the Research Centre, Innovation and Invention Centre (RC-II), is pleased to announce a Call for Proposals under the Gandaki Research Program (GRP) for the following funding schemes:
1. Graduate Research Grant (Master’s & PhD)
Applications are invited from eligible Master’s and PhD students enrolled in Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) within Gandaki Province.
Key Highlights:

Funding:
✓ Master’s: Up to NPR 50,000
✓ PhD: Up to NPR 75,000 (dry lab)/ NPR 150,000 (wet lab) -
Supports thesis/dissertation research
-
Minimum of 10 proposals each (Master’s and PhD) will be funded (subject to budget availability)
-
Applicants must have an approved supervisor and ongoing thesis/dissertation work
2. Collaborative Research Grant
Applications are invited from faculty/researchers for interdisciplinary and multi-institutional research projects.
Key Highlights:

Funding: Up to NPR 10,00,000 per project
-
Requires at least one collaborating partner institution (national or international)
-
Project duration: Up to 24 months
-
Emphasis on applied, impactful, and interdisciplinary research
