National Youth Council Invites IT Startup Applications
The National Youth Council, Sanothimi, Bhaktapur, under the Government of Nepal’s Ministry of Youth and Sports, has called for applications for the “Youth-Led Information Technology and Startup Business Exhibition and National Award.”
The Council published a notice on 2082/12/27, in line with its approved annual program for the fiscal year 2082/83, seeking applications from eligible young entrepreneurs.
Provincial IT and Startup Business Exhibition
According to the notice, provincial-level information technology and startup businesses exhibitions will be organized in the following locations:

Dhangadhi, Sudurpashchim Province

Birendranagar, Karnali Province

Butwal, Lumbini Province
-
Hetauda, Bagmati Province

Birgunj, Madhesh Province
-
Biratnagar, Koshi Province
For this program, 15 information technology and startup businesses will be selected from each of the listed provinces for participation in the exhibition.
To be eligible, young entrepreneurs must have registered and operated their business within the respective province and must have completed 16 years of age and not exceeded 40 years by the final date of application.
National-Level Startup Business Award
Applications have also been invited at the national level from youth in the same age group (16–40 years) for the “Information Technology Entrepreneur and Startup Business Award.”
Under this category, 15 businesses involved in digital entrepreneurship and startup ventures will be selected. Among those selected, six entrepreneurs judged best in the exhibition will each receive Rs. 200,000 (two hundred thousand rupees), according to the Council.
Application Process and Deadline
Interested and eligible young entrepreneurs must submit their applications by 12:00 midnight on 2083/01/11.
