ICAN Announcement for the Scholarship in the Chartered Accountancy Course

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nepal (ICAN - नेपाल चार्टर्ड एकाउन्टेन्ट्स संस्था) is pleased to announce the opening of applications for scholarship under ICAEW Foundation Bursary for fresh/new students to enroll in the Foundation and Application level of Chartered Accountancy (CA) course under ICAN. Students who have already enrolled in Chartered Accountancy Course are not eligible to apply for this scholarship scheme. A total of 10 students in Foundation level and 5 students directly enrolled in Application level will be awarded this scholarship.
This scholarship is aimed to support deserving and financially disadvantaged students who are willing to pursue the CA course but are unable to enroll due to financial constraints. This scholarship covers all fees payable to ICAN and specific amount of tuition fee for all levels of CA course to selected students.
Minimum Eligibility Criteria for Enrollment in CA Course

| Application Level | Minimum 50 % or 2.5 GPA or equivalent grade in bachelor's or master’s degree in any faculty/stream |
Note
Student who do not meet the criteria will not be eligible for selection of scholarship. Only shortlisted students will be contacted for interview.
Preference will be given to meritorious students based on geographical location, financial condition, marginality in communities, physical disability, gender, involvement in extracurricular activities including social responsibility and studied in public/government school/college.
