Kathmandu Metropolitan City Publishes First-Round Nomination List for Class 11 and 12 Scholarships
Kathmandu Metropolitan City has published the first-round nomination list, or matching list, for selecting students to study under scholarships in Class 11 and 12 at institutional educational institutions for the academic session 2083/084. The Office of the Municipal Executive, Education Department, issued a notice on 2083 Jestha 22 and made the result public.
As per the “Kathmandu Metropolitan City Scholarship Management Procedure, 2083,” students were nominated based on the entrance examination held on Jestha 17 and the final merit order published on Jestha 21. The Education Department stated that the list was published according to the decision of the Scholarship Examination Committee, based on the subject chosen by the students during application, the priority order of educational institutions, and the number of seats allocated under general, reservation, and group-wise categories.
Admission Must Be Completed by Jestha 27
Candidates who have been nominated must log in to the official metropolitan portal, entrance.kathmandu.gov.np. For this, they must use the scholarship examination roll number provided by the Metropolitan City, date of birth, and the password received on mobile or email to print their nomination letter.
Students must complete admission at the assigned educational institution by 2083 Jestha 27 with the nomination letter. The Metropolitan City has stated that if admission is not completed within the specified deadline, the student’s claim to study under scholarship at the concerned educational institution will be automatically cancelled. The notice also clearly states that the nominated educational institution will not be changed under any circumstances.
Second-Round List After Jestha 28
If seats remain vacant because students nominated in the first round do not complete admission within the prescribed date, second-round nomination will be carried out based on the merit order of the remaining students and the priority of educational institutions. The notice issued by Department Chief Namraj Dhakal states that the second-round nomination list will be published after 2083 Jestha 28.
Similarly, the Metropolitan City has directed all institutional educational institutions running Class 11 and 12 to admit the students nominated to their institutions free of cost under scholarship and update the details in the software.
