Ministry of Education Calls Scholarship Applications for Civil Engineering Study in Morocco

Kathmandu.

The Ministry of Education and Sports, Government of Nepal, has called scholarship applications from Nepali students to study Civil Engineering in Morocco. The Ministry has invited applications for the scholarship opportunity provided by the Government of Morocco to 5 Nepali students through letters from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Embassy of Nepal in New Delhi.

According to the notice, as per the secretary-level decision of the Ministry dated Jestha 22, 2083 (2083/02/22), candidates will be nominated for open seats and seats reserved for women in accordance with Rule 10(a) of the Scholarship Rules, 2060.

    Category: Open 2 and Female 1
    Remarks: Bachelor’s Level

  2. Subject/Stream: Civil Engineering
    Category: Open 1 and Female 1
    Remarks: Master’s Level

Required Minimum Qualification

For the Bachelor’s level, the applicant must have passed Class 12.

For the Master’s level, the applicant must have passed the Bachelor’s level.

For both levels, the applicant must have obtained the entrance examination result or score card of the relevant level conducted by the Institute of Engineering (IOE), Pulchowk Campus, Tribhuvan University.

Application Process and Deadline

Eligible and interested Nepali students must submit an online application through the Google link prescribed by the Ministry, https://forms.gle/2Smru2sscVpzTSiWA, from 2083/02/22 (June 05, 2026) to 2083/02/28 (June 11, 2026), Thursday, within office hours.

For further information, the Ministry has stated that the Scholarship Section of the Ministry of Education and Sports, Sanothimi, Bhaktapur, can be contacted at phone number 016634842.

According to the guidelines provided by the Moroccan Agency for International Cooperation (AMCI), this scholarship has been provided for the academic year 2026/2027.

Scholarship Amount: Selected students will receive a monthly living allowance of 750 dirhams, approximately USD 80.

Medium of Study: Since scientific and technical subjects in most universities in Morocco are taught in French, students who do not have proficiency in the French language are required to take language classes from designated institutions.

Facilities: Students will be provided accommodation or hostel facilities as per university rules, canteen facilities at subsidized rates, and health insurance or medical coverage. However, it has been stated that university hostel accommodation may not be available automatically and will be provided based on available seats.
