Kathmandu Metropolitan City Publishes Class 11 and 12 Scholarship Examination Re-Totaling Result
Kathmandu — Kathmandu Metropolitan City has published the re-totaling result of the examination conducted to select students for scholarship study in Classes 11 and 12 at institutional educational institutions operating under the Metropolitan City for the academic session 2083/084.
The Education Department under the Office of the Municipal Executive issued the notice titled “Notice Regarding Publication of the Re-Totaling Result of the Scholarship Examination” on 2083/02/21 under Letter No. 2082/083. The notice also mentions the date Nepal Sambat 1146 Analaga Chauthi. The dispatch number has not been mentioned.
According to the Metropolitan City, the examination for scholarships was conducted on 2083/02/17. The preliminary merit-order result of the examination was published on 2083/02/18.
The Metropolitan City stated that the OMR answer sheets of 331 examinees who were not satisfied with the preliminary result and submitted applications for re-totaling within office hours on 2083/02/20 were checked through both the computer system and manual verification.
During the checking process, the notice states that the result/marks of all examinees remained unchanged except for Roll No. 16392. The notice was published for the information of all concerned as per the decision of the Scholarship Examination Committee dated 2083/02/21.
The Metropolitan City also stated that it investigated applications submitted to correct details such as name and gender, and applications requesting removal from reservation areas where applicants had applied without meeting the eligibility criteria. In the case of applicants with sufficient proof, the notice states that details are being amended and the group-wise and subject-wise Final Merit List is being updated on the official portal entrance.kathmandu.gov.np.
After that, the Metropolitan City stated that the list for selecting educational institutions, namely the spotting list, and the student nomination recommendation process will begin soon.
