Publication of Preliminary Scholarship Results – Kathmandu Metropolitan City

Kathmandu Metropolitan City (Kathmandu Mahanagarpalika) has published the preliminary results of the scholarship examination for students enrolling in Class 11 and 12 for the academic session 2082/083 at institutional schools under its jurisdiction.

Based on the announcement published on 2082/03/18 and the online applications submitted by the deadline, the applicants whose forms were verified and approved appeared in the entrance examination held on 2082/04/03 (Saturday) across 54 designated centers.

The OMR answer sheets have been scanned and processed. Students who secured 40 marks or above can now view their Score Card, including obtained marks and ranking, by logging in at entrance.kathmandu.gov.np using their:

Roll Number
Date of Birth
Password (received via mobile/email)

This publication is based on the decision of the Scholarship Examination Committee dated 2082/04/04.

Instructions to Students

Correction Requests

If there is an error in the submitted details, such as name, gender, or if the applicant was approved under an ineligible category and needs to remove it (adding a new category is not permitted), they must submit a correction request with supporting documents within office hours on 2082/04/05.

Objections or Appeals

If a student is not satisfied with the result or wishes to file a claim or objection, they may fill out the provided form and visit the Education Department, Kathmandu Metropolitan City in person. A fee of NPR 1,000 must be paid, and the submission must be completed within office hours on 2082/04/05.

Important Note

This is a preliminary result. After addressing all objections and verifications, the first matching list will be published on 2082/04/06 based on the final merit ranking and the institution preferences selected during application.

If any students are not matched in the first list, a second matching list will be published based on the remaining available seats and merit ranking.
If seats still remain vacant, matching will be conducted again, possibly across subjects, as per availability.
