
Kathmandu Metropolitan Scholarship Nomination: 2nd Phase 2082
Kathmandu Metropolitan City (Kathmandu Mahanagarpalika) has published the second phase nomination list for Class 11 and 12 scholarship quotas for the academic year 2082/83.
In this phase, the following number of students were selected by stream:

414 students in Science
-
106 in Management
-
1 in Humanities
-
3 in Education
-
30 in Law
-
Total: 554 students
Details from the Education Department
According to Keshav Gyawali, Acting Head of the Education Department of Kathmandu Metropolitan, the first phase nomination list was published on 6th Shrawan and the admission process was completed by 9th Shrawan.
The second phase list has now been released based on remaining seats, application preferences, and scholarship quotas.
Admission Deadline for Selected Students
Selected students must complete their admission at the respective educational institutions by 15th Shrawan.
If admission is not completed by the specified date, they will no longer be eligible to claim the scholarship, Gyawali clarified.
Opportunity for Remaining Qualified Candidates
For students who passed the entrance exam but were not selected in the first or second phase, the department will publish information regarding subject and college preferences for the remaining seats after 16th Shrawan.

Entrance Examination Details
The entrance exam was held on 3rd Shrawan 2082 across 54 exam centers.
A total of 14,173 students participated.
The exam was based on the Grade 10 curriculum and included:

30 questions from Mathematics

30 from Science
-
30 from English
-
10 from General Knowledge
-
Total: 100 multiple-choice questions
The preliminary results were published on 4th Shrawan, and the re-evaluation results on 6th Shrawan.
