Students between 3 and 18 years of age have received scholarship amounts ranging from a minimum of NPR 5,661 to a maximum of NPR 16,984. She informed that the scholarship amount is being provided on a trimester basis. A total of NPR 8,010,442 will be distributed as scholarship support.

On this occasion, Chief of the District Coordination Committee, Baburam Acharya, and Officer of the Education and Coordination Unit, Kapilvastu, Arjun Kunwar, were also present. On the occasion, Coordination Committee Chief Acharya stated that this scholarship programme will be beneficial for increasing access to schools and improving educational outcomes. He noted that among various reasons, poverty has led many students to drop out of school, and expressed that this scholarship support will help address that situation.

He said that rural municipalities should also support poor and underprivileged orphan students. Programme Coordinator Ram Naresh Chaudhary stated that LIDO has been providing scholarships to orphan and disabled students for a long time.
