Mid-West University Directs Institutions to Ensure at Least 12% Scholarships in Student Admissions
The Office of the Registrar at Mid-West University, Birendranagar, Surkhet, has directed institutions to reserve at least 12% of their approved admission quota for scholarships while admitting students for the 2083/084 academic session.
Through an official notice published on Asar 29, 2083 BS, the university informed all its central departments, constituent campuses, and affiliated campuses that the provision must be implemented.
According to the notice, scholarships must be provided to at least 12% of admitted students in accordance with the Mid-West University Scholarship Management Procedure, 2080 BS (First Amendment). Letters have been sent to all program directors, campus chiefs, departmental heads, and coordinators to implement the directive.
The letter, signed by Registrar Dr. Arjun Bahadur Ayadi, was also sent to the Office of the Vice-Chancellor for information.
Copies were also provided to the deans of all graduate schools under the university, including Agriculture and Forestry Sciences, Education, Engineering, Humanities and Social Sciences, Law, Management, and Science and Technology.
