
Publication of Eligible Students for Targeted Scholarship
The preliminary list of students eligible for the targeted scholarship under the “Targeted Scholarship Management Guidelines 2080” has been published based on the PMT forms submitted by students studying in Classes 5 and 8 in public schools during the academic session 2081. The details of eligible students for Basic (Class 6) and Secondary (Class 9) level scholarships have been published on www.cehrd.gov.np.
The following instructions must be followed accordingly:
1. Verification for Class 6 Scholarship Eligibility

Verify students who filled the PMT form in Class 5 in the academic year 2081 and are currently studying in Class 6 in the academic year 2082 in public schools.

Only include students from:

First quintile (both boys and girls)

Second quintile (girls only)

2. Verification for Class 9 Scholarship Eligibility

For students who filled the PMT form in Class 8 in the academic year 2081, verify:

All students in the first quintile are currently studying in Class 9 in public schools.

All girls in the second quintile currently study in Class 9 in public schools.

All boys studying in the technical stream (regardless of quintile) are currently in Class 9.

3. Scholarship Amount and Bank Account Deadline

Students eligible under Sections 1 and 2 will receive an annual scholarship of NPR 6,000.

This applies to both general and technical stream students in Class 9.

The deadline for opening a bank account in an 'A' class bank has been extended to 2082 Jestha 21.

Accounts must be opened within this period to ensure timely disbursement.
4. Bank Account Details Entry in EMIS

Since the scholarship amount will be directly deposited into the students’ bank accounts, schools must ensure that:

Each eligible student opens a bank account.

Bank details are entered in the online EMIS system without delay.

5. Public Notification and Dissemination

The published list of eligible students must be made publicly available by:

Uploading it on the websites of local government offices, wards, and schools.

Display it on notice boards and through other communication channels.
