Article 12 of the Sirijangha Rural Municipality Scholarship Management Act, 2076 provides for the provision of MBBS study scholarship with accommodation every year to a student who has passed the Common Entrance Examination (MBBS) conducted by the Medical Education Commission.
In the current Fiscal Year, a public notice of 15 (fifteen) days targeting eligible students for scholarships as provided in the said section was published on 2078-04-25.
A total of 3 (three) students have applied for the scholarship within the notice period and the applications have been submitted to the meeting of the Scholarship Management Committee as provided in Section 17 of the Act as provided in Section 14 of the Act; A decision has been taken from the meeting of the committee held on 2078-05-11 to issue a 7 (seven) day public notice with the intention of providing MBBS study scholarship to the following students.
