Overview
Alpha's High School was established in 1986 A.D. (2043 B.S.) as a private educational institution, which is located in Tikhedewal, Jawalakhel, Lalitpur of Nepal. It is affiliated to the National Examinations Board (NEB) and approved by the Ministry of Education. It offers educational programs from Primary to grade 10.
Alpha’s Secondary school is managed by the highly experienced academicians and teaching experts who have a long experience in the field of teaching, school management, and administration. It is a total English medium school with the classes running from nursery to Grade Ten. The school has a glorious history of successful ten batches of SEE appearing students and has been successful in earning fame in many ECA activities in Kathmandu valley. The school is committed to adding additional flavor to its past history by uplifting the level of school in the academic sector as well as the all-round development of the students.

TEACHING METHODS: Education is a dynamic process. With a changing education policy in the world and the advent of new technologies and teaching approaches, Alpha aims to provide the education that meets the demands of the present world. Alpha adopts the most modern and advanced teaching methods and approaches to teach the students utilizing the latest technology and teaching aids. Different teaching methods like a demonstration, presentation, discussion, and project works are given priority. In order to support the teaching-learning activities, interactive and audiovisual classes are extensively conducted.
Curriculum: Alpha follows the curriculum as prescribed by the Ministry of Education Department, Government of Nepal. The subjects include English, Nepali, Mathematics, Science, Social studies, HPE, Computer, Vocational studies, and optional subjects.
Computer Lab: subject, information technology, and many practical classes. Computer lab consists of individual computers for each student with 24 hours high-speed internet facility. Students learn various things related to computer
ECA CLASSES: For the all-round development of the students and to teach the students the social behavior, discipline, self-motivation, and to develop leadership skills, Alpha conducts several ECA classes. They include dance class, arts & crafts class, speech, quiz, elocution, etc. Games and sports classes are also conducted weekly in order to maintain fitness and health.
School cafeteria: Alpha runs a school cafeteria with an aim to provide nutritious and hygienic food to our students. Students get various types of meals to eat at their choice. Junk food and packed food is strictly prohibited in the school area.
Alpha's Secondary School provides up to Secondary School level education with moderate fee structures and also provides a scholarship scheme for deserving students.
