Gyanjyoti Vidyakunj Secondary School (GVSS) located in Gagangaunda at the eastern end of the Pokhara valley. GVSS was established in 2053 B.S. (1996ce.) It is providing an English-medium education. The school is a for-profit institution founded by three teachers. Students are admitted only on the basis of entrance test examinations.

The school is run by the School Managing Committee. The staff were educated and trained in both Nepal and overseas. The facilities and resources of the coeducational school include well-equipped classrooms, a library, a computer lab, playgrounds, a cafeteria, and a hostel. Academic performance has been excellent in previous SEE exams.
