Overview
Lord's Light Academy was established in 2005 A.D. (2062 B.S.) as a Private educational institution, which is located in Gokarneshwor-6 Kathmandu. It is affiliated to the National Examination Board (NEB) and approved by the Ministry of education. It offers education programs from Nursery to Grade 10.
Lord’s Light Academy is one of the schools that serve the middle-class Nepali in urban areas and is continually growing in size. Lord’s Light Academy currently has 14 classes, including playgroup to grade ten, and two sections for each class up to grade four, with enrollments around 750.
Lord’s Light has been active in imparting quality education since its establishment in 2005. The faculty at Lord’s Light Academy consists of teachers who are certified by the Government of Nepal and approved by the Ministry of Education. The school today has one of the best educational institutions in the country. The school students first appeared in the School Leaving Certificate Examination (SLC) in 2066, with a 100% first division result. Since then every year the school has been creating a history of breaking the records of academic performance. The school has secured seventy percent distinction and 30 percent first division result than in the SLC result whereas 40 percent A+ and 60 percent A grade average result. SEE, and the then SLC result, itself speaks the quality education, the school has been imparting. The school at present is not only delivering just a good education but an education for good.
The school has been continuously carrying out its effort to transfer the children to achieve perfection by making them integral and accept them a total transformation. It’s very challenging and hard to bring into reality so the school has been applying special efforts to help students morally and spiritually matured persons of characters besides teaching the curriculum and textbooks. The school provides ample room for the students to learn moral and spiritual values to know themselves and keep a distance from the quicksand of the so-called modern life.
Scholarship: Lord's Light Academy (L.L.A.) highly offers scholarships to the meritious performance of innovative students. It is a great inspiration with an opportunity to enhance the creativity of the individuals. It focuses the brilliant students who have to hold the top 10 ranks in their latest term of the school's examination. This scholarship has been Emuring to the students who will secure the determined percentage taken entrance examination from our selection board. All the rights are reserved to the school administration during the process of selection.
