Overview
Manjughoksha Academy was established in1995 A.D. as a community-based educational institution, which is located in Paiyantar, Kapan, Kathmandu. It is affiliated to the National Examination Board (NEB) and approved by the Ministry of education. It offers an educational program from Nursery to Grade 10 (SEE).
Manjughoksha Academy maintains a high standard of education and respectfully preserves the Tibetan language, religion, and culture. The majority of the students, now numbered at over 300, are Tibetan refugees together with Mustang, Gurung and Tamang children, etc., who have close cultural and religious links with Tibetans.
The goals of the Manjughoksha Academy are to admit underprivileged children as well as those whose families are able to pay the tuition and boarding fees. Donations and sponsorships by individuals and businesses are used to give the opportunity of an education to as many children as possible.

Manjughoksha Academy provides School level education with moderate fee structures and also provides a scholarship scheme for deserving students.
