Overview
Surya Prakash Secondary School, Surkhet (सूर्य प्रकाश माध्यमिक विद्यालय, सुर्खेत) located in Panchapuri, 44 km away; west from Birendranagar, Surkhet, Karnali Province, Nepal. This school was established in 1943 AD (B.S. 2000) initially. However, the spontaneous efforts of social workers of the district Mr. Yagya Bahadur BC, Lalu Shahi, Amar Bahadur Ramjali, Lilaram Chapain, Chakra Bahadur Shahi, Bal Bahadur Budha along with then principal khadga Bahadur Chand and other Co-staff, the school was registered as a secondary school in 1984 AD (2041 B.S.). The school was officially registered in 2052 from the ministry of education according to government act so that students could appear SLC.
From the academic year 2006/07 AD (2063/64 BS) the school started 10+2 classes. Ii is affiliated to National Examinations Board and offers TEN Plus Two in management and Education stream.
