Overview
Yashodhara Secondary School (यशोधरा माध्यमिक विद्यालय, भोजपुर) was established in 1974 AD (2009 BS) as a community based educational institution, which is situated in Bhojpur Municipality-12, Taksar, Bhojpur, Nepal. It is affiliated to the National Examination Board (NEB) and approved by the Ministry of Education. It offers educational programs from ECD to grade 10 and plus two in Management, and Education streams.
Yashodhara Secondary School was named after Yashodhara, the wife of Siddhartha Gautama, who later became Gautama Buddha, the primary figure of the Buddhist religion.
Yashodhara Secondary School lies on the lap of a small hill covered with forest called Raniban. There are three big taps of naturally flowing spring water. This water is the source of drinking water to the students of the school and the locals around the school. There is a public library in the northern side of the school.
Yashodhara Secondary School provides up to secondary level education with moderate fee structures and also provides a scholarship scheme for the deserving students.
