Applications Invited for Chairperson and Members of Public Procurement Review Committee
Kathmandu. The Government of Nepal, Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, has invited applications to fill vacant posts in the Public Procurement Review Committee. The office published a notice on 9 Jestha 2083, calling for applications for the posts of chairperson and members of the committee.
The notice states that, to perform the functions under Section 49 of the Public Procurement Act, 2063, one chairperson and two members must be appointed to the vacant posts in the committee in accordance with Section 48 of the same Act.
Interested and qualified candidates must submit applications within seven days from the date of publication of the notice at the “Public Procurement Monitoring Office” located at Keshar Mahal, Kathmandu.
As mentioned in the notice, the qualifications, documents to be submitted, and other details of the candidates are as follows:
Candidate Qualifications and Experience
Candidates must have the qualifications and experience prescribed under Section 48 of the Public Procurement Act, 2063.
Candidates must not have obtained citizenship or a permanent/temporary residential permit of any foreign country.
Candidates must not be disqualified under any law.

Application form in the format prescribed in Schedule-1
Self-declaration in the format prescribed in Schedule-2
Photocopy of Nepali citizenship certificate
Photocopy of academic qualification certificates, including an equivalence certificate if studied at a foreign university
Documents showing the period of service in a public body or institution
Personal details (biodata)
Recommendation and Appointment Process
Among the persons who submit applications in due form within the prescribed deadline, the office will prepare a shortlist and submit it to the Government of Nepal, Council of Ministers. Based on the same list, the Government of Nepal, Council of Ministers, will appoint suitable candidates.
Remuneration and Facilities
The remuneration and facilities of the appointed chairperson and members will be as prescribed by the Government of Nepal.

The office has clarified that applications not received in due form as per this notice will be rejected.
