Chandragiri Municipality Invites Applications for Municipal Police Constables on Contract
Chandragiri Municipality, located in Balambu, Kathmandu, has invited applications to fill Municipal Police Constable positions on a contract basis. The Office of the Municipal Executive published a notice on 9 Shrawan 2083, inviting applications from interested Nepali citizens who meet the prescribed qualifications.
The Municipality plans to recruit a total of 25 Municipal Police Constables on contract. The vacancy details are as follows:

Required Qualifications and Age Limit

Age: Applicants must have completed 18 years of age and must not exceed 35 years as of the application deadline. Retired security personnel must not exceed 45 years of age.

Educational Qualification: Applicants must have passed Grade 8.

Other Conditions: Applicants must not have been convicted of a criminal offence involving moral turpitude. They must not have been dismissed from any service in a manner that would disqualify them from future government service. They must not be members of any political party and must not have been convicted of violating human rights or humanitarian law.

For Men

For Women

Eyesight for Both Men and Women
The eyesight of both male and female applicants must not be weaker than minus 2 or plus 2.

The notice states that preference will be given during selection to applicants holding light four-wheeled and heavy vehicle driving licences.

Applicants applying under both the open and women categories must pay an additional Rs. 300, making the total application fee Rs. 600.

Application Submission Process
The application form can be obtained from Chandragiri Municipality, Balambu.
Applicants must appear in person, pay the application fee at the Municipality’s Revenue Section, and submit the application in the prescribed format to the Administration Section. The original fee payment receipt and all required documents must be attached to the application.
Examination and Other Information

The examination will include physical fitness, written, and interview stages.
