Volunteer Teacher Recruitment Notice – Chandranagar Rural Municipality

Chandranagar Rural Municipality, Office of the Rural Municipal Executive, Chandranagar, Sarlahi, Madhesh Province, Nepal, Notice Regarding Recruitment of Volunteer Teachers.

It has become necessary to fill the vacant posts of volunteer teachers in public schools under Chandranagar Rural Municipality through an open competitive examination. As per the previously published notice for the fiscal year 2079/80, an adequate number of applications were not received.

Therefore, applications are invited again for the following positions from eligible Nepali citizens who meet the minimum qualifications, within fifteen (15) days from the date of publication of this notice.

Minimum Qualifications Required

For Secondary Level (Grades 9–12): Master’s degree or equivalent in the relevant subject from a recognized educational institution. For Social Studies, Master’s degree in other related subjects is also acceptable.
For Secondary Level (Grades 9–10): Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in the relevant subject from a recognized educational institution. For Social Studies, Bachelor’s degree in other related subjects is also acceptable.
For Computer subject at Secondary Level (Grades 9–10): Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer subject from a recognized institution and completion of a one-year computer training/course.
For Lower Secondary / Basic Level: Proficiency Certificate Level (Intermediate) or equivalent in the relevant subject from a recognized institution.
For Lower Secondary and Primary / Basic Level Computer subject: Proficiency Certificate Level or equivalent in Computer subject from a recognized institution and completion of a six-month computer training/course.
For Early Childhood Development: Passed SLC/SEE or equivalent from a recognized institution (females only, with or without teaching license).
Must be a Nepali citizen.
Must have obtained a permanent teaching license.
Age: Completed 18 years and not exceeding 40 years by the last date of application. However, for Advertisement Nos. 28 and 29 (Science subject), this age limit will not apply to teachers currently working in public/community schools within Sarlahi district (only once).

Note: Applications already registered under Advertisement Nos. 15 and 19 (Science subject) of fiscal year 2079/080 will remain valid.

Documents to be Submitted

Copies of minimum academic qualification certificates, citizenship certificate, permanent teaching license, and work experience certificates (if any), self-attested.
Three passport-size photos.

Application Fee

Early Childhood Development and Primary/Basic Level: NPR 500
Lower Secondary/Basic Level: NPR 700
Secondary Level (Grades 9–10): NPR 1000
Secondary Level (Grades 9–12): NPR 1500

The fee should be deposited in Chandranagar Rural Municipality Internal Revenue Account No. 22801017500031 (Nabil Bank) or at the Internal Revenue Section. The original voucher must be submitted along with the application form.
