Nepal Telecom Open and Inclusive Vacancy Notice 2083

Nepal Telecommunications Company Limited (Nepal Telecom - NTC), Central Office, Recruitment Committee, has invited online applications to fill vacant positions through open and inclusive competitive examinations.

According to the notice published in Gorkhapatra on 2083/07/13 BS, the examinations for these positions will be conducted by the Public Service Commission (PSC), following the Commission's approval.

Minimum Educational Qualifications and Experience

The minimum educational qualifications and experience required for the advertised positions are as follows:

Level 9: Deputy Manager (CA)

Candidates must have passed the Chartered Accountancy examination or an equivalent examination from a recognized institution and must be registered with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nepal (ICAN).

They must also have at least five years of experience in an officer-level position in the Government of Nepal's civil service or an organized institution.

• Candidates with a master's degree require at least three years of experience.

• Candidates with a PhD require at least two years of experience.

Level 8: Senior Engineer (Telecom)

Candidates must have a master's degree from a recognized educational institution in any of the following engineering disciplines:

• Telecommunication

• Communication

• Radio

• Electrical

• Electronics

• Information Technology

• Computer Software

• Computer Hardware

• Computer

• Electrical

• Refrigeration and Air Conditioning

• Mechanical Engineering

Candidates must be registered with the Nepal Engineering Council and have at least five years of experience in an officer-level position.

Candidates holding a PhD require at least three years of experience.

Level 8: Senior Business Officer

Candidates must have a master's degree with any one of the following as a major subject:

• Management

• Commerce

• Business Administration

• Economics

• Mathematics

• Statistics

They must have at least five years of experience in an officer-level position. Candidates with a PhD require at least three years of experience.

Level 8: Senior Accounts Officer

Candidates must have a master's degree in Management, Commerce, or Business Administration, specializing in Accounting or Finance, or must have passed the Chartered Accountancy examination.

They must have at least five years of experience in an officer-level position. Candidates with a PhD require at least three years of experience.

Level 7: Telecom Engineer (Electronics and Communication)

Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in the relevant discipline and be registered with the Nepal Engineering Council.

Level 7: Telecom Engineer (Computer)

Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in any of the following relevant disciplines:

• Computer Science

• Information Technology

• Information Communication

• Computer Software

• Computer Hardware

• Computer Engineering

Candidates must also be registered with the Nepal Engineering Council.

Level 7: Telecom Engineer (Electrical)

Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline, including Electrical, Electronics and Electrical, Electrical and Communication, or Electrical Engineering.

Candidates must also be registered with the Nepal Engineering Council.

Level 6: Assistant Administrative Officer

Candidates must have passed a bachelor's degree or equivalent examination in any discipline.

Level 6: Assistant Business Officer

Candidates must have passed a bachelor's degree or equivalent examination in any of the following disciplines:

• Management

• Commerce

• Business Administration

• Economics

• Mathematics

• Statistics

Level 6: Assistant Accounts Officer

Candidates must have passed a bachelor's degree or equivalent examination in Management, Commerce, or Business Administration, specializing in Accounting or Finance.

Level 6: Overseer

Candidates must have passed the Proficiency Certificate Level or Diploma in Civil Engineering or Architecture.

Level 4: Assistant

Candidates must have passed the Secondary Education Examination (SEE), School Leaving Certificate (SLC), or an equivalent examination and completed three months of basic computer training.

Alternatively, candidates who have passed an equivalent examination with Computer as a subject are also eligible.

Level 4: Telecom Technician

Candidates must have passed the SEE, SLC, or an equivalent examination and completed relevant technical training from a Telecommunication Training Centre.

Alternatively, candidates who have passed the Level 2 skill test conducted by the Skill Testing Board are eligible.

Level 3: Junior Technician

Candidates must have passed Grade 8 and completed relevant training from a Telecommunication Training Centre.

Alternatively, candidates who have passed the Level 1 skill test conducted by the National Skill Testing Board are eligible.

Age Limit

The age requirements for applicants are as follows:

For Levels 3, 4, 6, and 7:

• Candidates must have completed 18 years of age and must not exceed 35 years by the regular application deadline.

• Female candidates and candidates with disabilities must not exceed 40 years of age.

For Levels 8 and 9:

- Candidates must have completed 21 years of age and must not exceed 40 years.

Age Limit Exemption:

The age limit will not apply to existing permanent employees of Nepal Telecommunications Company Limited.

The age limit will be calculated based on the regular application deadline of 2083/08/04.
