Citizen Investment Trust Calls for Applications for Executive Director Post
The Selection and Recommendation Committee for the Executive Director of the Nagarik Lagani Kosh, formed under the Government of Nepal, Ministry of Finance, has invited applications for the vacant post of Executive Director. Eligible and interested Nepali citizens may submit confidential sealed applications by 2083 Asar 31 for the post, which will be filled through open competitive competition.
The Committee published the notice for the first time on 2083/03/11, inviting applications within a period of 21 days. Applications must be submitted during office hours to the Financial Sector Management and Corporation Coordination Division at the Ministry of Finance, Singha Durbar.
Qualifications and Experience

Must have the qualifications and experience as per Section 42(1) of the Citizen Investment Trust Act, 2047.

Must not be disqualified as per Section 4 of the Standards Relating to the Appointment and Nomination of Office Bearers and Members of Public Bodies Affiliated with the Ministry of Finance, 2073.
Application Submission Process and Required Documents

Candidates must self-attest and submit the documents and details as per Section 3, and the self-declaration application as per Section 4, of the Procedure Relating to the Selection and Recommendation of the Executive Director of Citizen Investment Trust, 2083, published on the website of the Ministry of Finance, www.mof.gov.np.

Copies of educational qualification certificates, experience documents, Nepali citizenship certificate, personal details, and two copies of passport-size photographs must be submitted along with the application.

A sealed Professional Action Plan prepared in accordance with Section 6 of the said procedure, not exceeding 5,000 (five thousand) words, must be submitted.

The outer part of the sealed proposal must mandatorily mention “Application and Professional Action Plan for the Executive Director of Citizen Investment Trust.”

Selection Process and Other Information
Presentation: Shortlisted candidates must present the Professional Action Plan submitted by them on the specified date and time.
Remuneration: The Executive Director will be provided monthly remuneration and other service facilities based on the terms mentioned in the contract.
Cancellation and Action: The Committee may cancel any application received, with or without stating any reason. The notice states that if false details or documents are submitted, the application will be cancelled and action will be taken as per prevailing law.
