Citizen Investment Trust Publishes Notice for Promotion Through Internal Competition and Performance Evaluation

Citizen Investment Trust (CIT) has invited applications for filling various vacant positions through promotion. The Trust’s Central Office, New Baneshwor, has published separate notices for promotion through an internal competitive written examination and through performance evaluation, calling for applications from eligible employees.
1. Promotion Through Internal Competitive Examination
With the consent of the Public Service Commission, the Trust is proceeding to fill positions through an internal competitive written examination. Eligible candidates who meet the requirements under the Trust’s Employee Service, Terms and Benefits Regulations, 2051 may apply.
Application Deadline: Within 21 days from the date of publication of the notice, and within an additional 7 days by paying double fees.
Examination Fee: NPR 1,000/- for officer-level posts and NPR 600/- for assistant-level posts.

Examination Conduct: The examination will be conducted by the Public Service Commission.

2. Promotion Through Performance Evaluation
The Trust has also invited applications for promotion through performance evaluation. Eligible candidates must submit applications within 30 days from the date of publication of the notice.

The notice also states that if application forms and required documents are not received within the prescribed deadline and this affects eligibility for promotion, the concerned employee will be responsible. The notice has been issued by the Member Secretary of the Recruitment Committee.
