Government of Nepal, Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration, Civil Service Hospital, Minbhawan, Kathmandu, publishes a notice to inform all concerned that Civil Service Hospital (Nijamati Karmachari Hospital - Civil Service Hospital) requires to recruit employees on contract service for the posts mentioned below, from among Nepali citizens who meet the following qualifications and experience.

Eligible applicants must submit their applications along with the revenue payment receipt within fifteen days from the date of publication of this notice, that is, up to 2082/08/15. If that date happens to be a public holiday, applications will be accepted up to 2:00 pm on the next working day.

Vacancy Details: Positions, Levels and Number of Posts

1. Minimum Qualifications and Experience

Ophthalmology, Consultant (Tenth Level): Master’s degree or equivalent in Ophthalmology from a recognized educational institution, and at least 5 years of service in the position of Senior Registrar in Ophthalmology or an equivalent post.

Cardiology, Senior Registrar (Ninth Level): Master’s degree in Internal Medicine from a recognized educational institution and:

(1) At least 1 year of clinical fellowship or equivalent qualification in Cardiology, and at least 4 years of service in the post of Registrar or an equivalent post, or

(2) DM or an equivalent degree in Cardiology.

Gastroenterology, Senior Registrar (Ninth Level): DM or an equivalent degree in Gastroenterology from a recognized educational institution.

Hepatology, Senior Registrar (Ninth Level): DM or an equivalent degree in Hepatology from a recognized educational institution.

Medical Oncology, Senior Registrar (Ninth Level): (1) DM or PhD in Medical Oncology from a recognized educational institution, or

(2) Master’s degree or equivalent in Medical Oncology from a recognized educational institution and at least 3 years of service in the post of Registrar or an equivalent post, or

(3) Master’s degree in Internal Medicine from a recognized educational institution with at least 1 year of fellowship in Medical Oncology and at least 3 years of service in the post of Registrar or an equivalent post, or

(4) If a 2-year fellowship in Medical Oncology has been completed, at least 2 years of service.

CTVS Surgery, Senior Registrar (Ninth Level): MCH or an equivalent degree in Cardiothoracic Surgery from a recognized educational institution.

Interventional Radiology, Senior Registrar (Ninth Level): Master’s degree in Radiology from a recognized educational institution and at least 1 year of clinical fellowship or equivalent qualification in Interventional Radiology, and at least 4 years of service in the post of Registrar or an equivalent post, or DM or an equivalent degree in Interventional Radiology.

Urology, Senior Registrar (Ninth Level): (1) MCH or PhD in Urology from a recognized educational institution, or (2) Master’s degree or equivalent in Urology from a recognized educational institution and at least 3 years of service in the post of Registrar or an equivalent post.

Nephrology, Senior Registrar (Ninth Level):
DM or an equivalent degree in Nephrology from a recognized educational institution.

Orthopedic Surgery, Registrar (Eighth Level): Master’s degree or equivalent in Orthopedic Surgery from a recognized educational institution.

Pediatric Medicine, Registrar (Eighth Level): Master’s degree or equivalent in Pediatric Medicine from a recognized educational institution.

Ophthalmology, Registrar (Eighth Level): Master’s degree or equivalent in Ophthalmology from a recognized educational institution.

Ear, Nose and Throat, Registrar (Eighth Level): Master’s degree or equivalent in Otorhinolaryngology from a recognized educational institution.

General Surgery, Registrar (Eighth Level): Master’s degree or equivalent in General Surgery from a recognized educational institution.

Critical Care, Registrar (Eighth Level): Master’s degree or equivalent in Critical Care from a recognized educational institution, or
Master’s degree or equivalent in Internal Medicine or Anesthesiology from a recognized educational institution.

Anesthesiology, Registrar (Eighth Level): Master’s degree or equivalent in Anesthesiology from a recognized educational institution.

Psychiatry, Registrar (Eighth Level): Master’s degree or equivalent in Psychiatry from a recognized educational institution.

Facio-Maxillary Surgery, Registrar (Eighth Level): Master’s degree or equivalent in Facio-Maxillary Surgery from a recognized educational institution.

Radiology, Registrar (Eighth Level): Master’s degree or equivalent in Radiology from a recognized educational institution and at least 1 year of service in the post of Registrar or an equivalent post in Radiology.

Family Medicine and Emergency, Registrar (Eighth Level): Master’s degree or equivalent in Family Medicine and Emergency from a recognized educational institution.

Dermatology, Registrar (Eighth Level): Master’s degree or equivalent in Dermatology from a recognized educational institution.

Biomedical Engineer (Sixth Level): Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from a recognized educational institution.

Dietitian Officer (Sixth Level): Master’s degree or equivalent in Nutrition from a recognized educational institution.

2. Documents to be Submitted with the Application

Citizenship Certificate Copy: A copy of the Nepali citizenship certificate.

Academic Qualification Certificates: Copies of academic qualification certificates.

Experience and Registration Certificates: Certified copies of experience certificates and certified copies of registration with the relevant council, board, or other body as required by prevailing Nepali law.

Self-Certification of Copies: All copies submitted with the application must be self-certified by the candidate with their signature on the back of each copy.

Type of Examination: Written examination and interview.

Examination Centre: To be decided later.

Application Fee:

• For Consultant (Tenth Level) and Senior Registrar (Ninth Level): NPR 2,000.

• For Registrar (Eighth Level): NPR 1,200.

• For Sixth Level: NPR 1,000.

Age Limit of Candidates:

• For Eighth and Ninth Levels: Completed 21 years of age and not exceeding 45 years.

• For Sixth Level: Completed 21 years of age and not exceeding 35 years; for women, not exceeding 40 years.

• For Tenth Level: Completed 21 years of age and not exceeding 55 years.
