Dhulikhel Hospital, Kathmandu University Hospital, invites applications from qualified Nepalese citizens for the following position on a contract basis.

Position: Internal Auditor – One (1)

Required Qualifications and Criteria:

• Must have completed Chartered Accountancy with a Bachelor’s Degree in Management, or recognized equivalent degree with at least two years of prior internal auditing experience in reputed organizations in Nepal, preferably in the hospital sector.
• Must be conversant and up to date with Nepalese/International accounting as well as auditing standards, taxation law, and other relevant laws/regulations.
• Possess excellent skills in MS Office and its auditing tools and be capable of conducting audits of any kind of accounting software.
• Excellent English language skills (spoken and written).
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Must be under 40 years of age as of the date of this vacancy publication.

Summary of Task/Jobs:

• Conduct concurrent audits to ensure all hospital transactions comply with regulatory requirements.
• Perform propriety audits of all expenses incurred by the hospital.
• Work as a liaison between different departments and senior management to resolve issues.
• Ensure the hospital’s tender procedures comply with regulatory requirements by actively participating in tender activities and documentation.
• Analyze the hospital's current financial processes and practices, and recommend improvements for sustainable financial benefits while actively engaging in implementing changes until the department is comfortable with the new practices.
• Provide independent, impartial, objective, and evidence-based advice and recommendations in the conduct of internal audits.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Administrative Director.
